Eagle Pass Heliskiing in Canada’s Powder Paradise
Varied slopes, individual heli tours and breathtaking landscapes. These are just a few reasons to experience heliskiing at its best in Eaglepass.
Immerse yourself in untouched Canadian terrain, almost endless skiing pleasure in an unlimited powder paradise. In the Monashee Mountains, freeriders‘ dreams come true. Heliski provider Eagle Pass is based in Revelstoke, the freeride nest in the Monasheee Mountains of British Columbia (BC), known for great snow conditions and gorgeous scenery. Eagle Pass is a 550-meter mountain pass in the Rocky Mountains that crosses the Gold Range in the Monashee Mountains. The Monashee Mountains are most famous for their beautiful pristine forest runs. The longest run is a whopping 1,768 meters long. That is longer than the run from Whistler’s highest point to the base.
Eagle Pass Heliskiing: an exclusive pleasure
Heliskiing in Canada with Eagle Pass is an exclusive pleasure: A maximum of four guests are allowed per group plus guide. This increases safety and allows for a better division into skill levels. Three groups of four per helicopter are possible, plus there is more flexibility in the choice of terrain. Besides the unique powder, the variable terrain is the second secret of success of the freeride mecca in and around Revelstoke: many different terrains are skied: Open forests, alpine terrain, wide open slopes, gullies or creeks. The powder and variability make all the difference. The small Eagle Pass helicopter (B2 A-Star) allows for more landing options compared to other operators.
A variety of packages are offered, but mainly multi-day trips with accommodations at Echo Bay Lodge, just 13 kilometers from Revelstoke. From there, guests enjoy views of the Columbia River Valley. Eaglepass is the only heliski operator in the region to offer single-day tours. Skis are provided, but you must bring your own boots and boards.“
