Safety first on the off-piste

If you want to powder on the off-piste in North America, you must be equipped with all the necessary safety equipment: With avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel and avalanche airbag. More tips and tricks can be found at Avalanche Canada (www.avalanche.ca).

Avalanche Canada is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to public avalanche safety. They issue daily avalanche forecasts throughout the winter for much of the mountain regions in western Canada and make this information available for free through their website and app, Avalanche Canada Mobile.
