CMH Adamants: small groups, big mountains, huge heliski fun
Adamants Lodge offers pure heliski luxury: small group heliskiing in the magnificent Northern Selkirks, a fantastic lodge in the middle of the wilderness with only 30 guests and highest CMH standards.
CMH Adamants Lodge is a jewel among the lodges of heliskiing inventor and world market leader Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH). Far from any civilization, the impressive base sits on a plateau at the intersection of four spectacular valleys. In winter, Adamants Lodge is accessible only by helicopter. Guests are flown in from Golden. This journey alone is an experience that makes heliskiing in the Adamants unforgettable.
CMH Adamants flies into 1,000 square kilometer area
Using two small helicopters, CMH flies a total of six groups with a maximum of five guests directly from the lodge to the dramatically beautiful mountain world of the northern Selkirks in the Adamants. Over a thousand square kilometers is the area shared by only 30 skiers and snowboarders. Between 900 and 3,100 meters are the well over 330 mapped runs that the guides know like the back of their hands.
The Selkirks northeast of Revelstoke are famous for their gigantic glacier runs, deep valleys that make for enormously long runs with lots of vertical, and world-class forest runs. In the Adamants, demanding heliskiers get their money’s worth. No wonder, after all, the mountains of the region are especially spoiled by Frau Holle. At an altitude of 1,800 meters, an average of 18 meters of snow fall per season, and that is the finest powder for heliskiing in Canada!
If you want to make the most of it, you should warm up a bit in Lake Louise or Kicking Horse. At Adamants Lodge you should not arrive with jetlag in your bones, but be in top shape. This way, every run in the dusting powder snow becomes pure pleasure and an incomparable experience.“
Insider-Tipp
Those who treat themselves to heliskiing at Adamants Lodge should start their Once-in-a-Lifetime trip with a visit to the Post Hotel Lake Louise. There is no more pleasant way to acclimatize to the Rocky Mountains than in the Relais & Chateau house.
